That deep roasted moong-dal flavour normally takes hours. This nailed it.

Ghee-laden, aromatic and melts in the mouth. Made my Diwali so much easier.
Authentic and delicious. Best enjoyed in small portions as it's indulgent.
Rich, ghee-forward, proper moong dal texture, not the gooey halwa some brands pass off. Heated it and served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Gone in a day.
Most ready-to-eat sweets taste like syrup. This actually has the roasted dal flavour coming through. Would love a bigger pack size for the price.
Heat and eat, the way mum would, in minutes. Pick your way.
Half-fill a pot and bring it to a proper rolling boil.

Serve hot with phulka, jeera rice or a wedge of lemon.

Six hours on a low flame.Halwa cannot be hurried. The moong dal is roasted and stirred for close to six hours, until the grain collapses and the whole pot turns glossy and dark. That patience is the entire reason for the texture.
15–20g of real desi cow ghee in every pouch. Most packaged mithai stretches the batch with vanaspati or refined palm oil. This halwa is finished with real desi cow ghee, roughly a tenth of the pouch by weight. That is the richness you are tasting.

Retort sealing is what lets a cooked dish keep without a single preservative. That part is new. What goes inside it is the food this kitchen has made since 1967.
Not a replacement for home cooking. The next best thing when life gets busy.
Per serve, based on a single pouch at ₹220 serving 2.
Correct. Our retort pouch is sealed with the air pressed out, then sterilised at 121°C — the same technology the Indian army and ISRO use. Store at room temperature for 12 months. Refrigerate only after opening.
12 months from the manufacture date printed on the back of the pouch. Once opened, finish within 24 hours (refrigerated).
We won't say identical — fresh is always fresh. But the retort process locks in flavour and texture at the peak of cooking, so most customers can't tell the difference once it's heated through. For the closest result, heat it in a pan rather than the microwave.
Yes — fully sealed retort pouches are allowed in checked baggage internationally. Many of our NRI customers do exactly this.
