"Bhindi without the hassle."

Cutting and frying bhindi is so tedious. This gives me the same dahi-bhindi flavour without the effort. The okra is not slimy at all — nicely done.

"Great with rotli."

Light, tangy, proper Gujarati-style sabzi. I pair it with store-bought rotli for a quick dinner. The buttermilk gives it a gentle tang that works really well.

"My kids actually eat bhindi now."

My children will not touch okra normally. Something about this preparation — maybe the curd base — makes it mild enough that they finish their plates. Win.

"Not slimy at all"

I avoid packaged bhindi expecting sliminess. This was not slimy, the curd base is tangy and light. Pleasant surprise.

"Good but delicate"

Tasty and mild, my kids ate it. The bhindi softens a little on reheating, as expected, but flavour is lovely with rotli.

How to heat

Two ways. Either is foolproof.

Heat & eat — the way mum would, in minutes. Pick your way:

Questions, answered

Six things people ask.

Correct. Our retort pouch is sterilized at 121°C and sealed under nitrogen — the same technology the Indian army and ISRO use. Store at room temperature for 12 months. Refrigerate only after opening.

12 months from the manufacture date printed on the back of the pouch. Once opened, finish within 24 hours (refrigerated).

We won't say identical — fresh is always fresh. But the retort process locks in flavour and texture at the peak of cooking, so most customers can't tell the difference once it's heated through. For the closest result, heat it in a pan rather than the microwave.

Yes — fully sealed retort pouches are allowed in checked baggage internationally. Many of our NRI customers do exactly this.
